Do you feel like your eyelids are slowly closing when the warm sink water touches your face?

Here are some habits that you can add to your morning routine that will wake your face and body up so you are ready for the day!

  1. Icing your face

Icing your face will wake you up immediately!

It feels amazing and it also has benefits such as reducing puffiness or boosting the skin's glow!

I ice my face every morning and it became a part of my morning routine.

2. Morning-specified moisturizer

Morning specified moisturizer will make your skin extra glowy and it will give you the protection you need for the day!

My favorite one is the Cerave Facial Moisturizing Lotion !

3. Stretch

Stretching is the one thing that wakes your body the most!

You won't feel as sore and stretching can relieve any tension or pain from sleeping the night before. It also helps increase your blood flow and prepares your body for the day ahead !

4. Drink at least one glass of water

Drinking water first thing in the morning immediately helps rehydrate the body!

Your six to eight hours of sleep is a long period to go without any water consumption. Drinking at least one glass of water right when you wake up is a good way to rehydrate your body quickly!

5. Get some fresh air

People thrive off of positive energy sources, and fresh air and sunlight are two of the most important forms of a positive energy source!

So getting some fresh air in the morning is great!

And if you don't have the time to go on a walk, even for example sitting on your front porch is better than nothing haha!

6. Face mask

If you have a little time on your hands, a face mask is really good for the morning because you are essentially providing a base of hydration for your skin!

It can also temporarily tighten the skin and shrink pores. You certainly feel more refreshed in the morning after using a mask, making it a great way to wake up the skin!

7. A cold shower

Cold showers wake your body up, inducing a higher state of alertness.

The cold also stimulates you to take deeper breaths, decreasing the level of CO2 throughout your body, helping you concentrate!

Cold showers keep you ready and focused throughout the day!

8. Using a Gua sha

Using a gua sha in the morning will reduce the puffiness of the skin, especially the eye area.

Plus, if you use the Gua Sha regularly (at least two or three times a week, and ideally every day), you'll see results very quickly !

9. Eat a healthy breakfast

Eating a healthy breakfast will provide you with Energy, essential vitamins, minerals and nutrients.

Breakfast also helps you control your weight and boosts brainpower!

My favorite healthy breakfast is toast with an avocado spread!

Hi! So these were some habits that you can add to your morning routine to wake yourself up and get ready for the day ! Hope you enjoyed !
